What's going on with this?
You can see light spots on my stetsonia coryne (lovingly named jim bob) in this picture. The are much lighter than the rest of the body and you can easily push down on those spots as if there is nothing under there for a few millimeters. One side is much worse than the other but i do not know if the worse side was facing the sun or not. It's indoor and in an east or west facing window almost every day (sometimes i take my babies out on the deck). What could this be?! The bottom picture is of the cactus out of dirt because I was replanting him. There looks to be no bugs or unwanted pests and there isnt any rot.

Right on top, and the growing point is a bad place for sun scorch -- Ally, I think that's what you're dealing with. Before I go any further, confirmation by another member would be helpful.pins&needles13 wrote:I don't see any spots ?

Pale patches on the edges of the ribs - looks like sunburn, all right. Not severe, though, likely will heal if you keep it out of direct sun for a while.
