Epipyllum oxypetalum

Post by Nigella »

Hi there,
I have a large E. oxypetalum since several years - and a second now which I hope is from a different clone. I'd like to grow fruits, only as a nice extra. But as another extra I'd like to learn it's natural pollinator. I presume it's a nocturnal butterfly - any idea of the specific species, genus or anything else that brings me closer to the answer?

Thanks!

U might wanna post this in the general section or help section not many people visit this section anymore, prob not until spring/summer it will start up again

I'm assuming its a moth that pollinates night blooming cacti sometimes even bats do it
But u can never be sure....
