Simple micro-grafts

Post by DevilKnight »

Two seedlings had their cotyledons sliced off. Then seedlings were wedged together inside of Pereskiopsis. The result? A successful graft a few weeks old you see before you.

Interesting method!
Could you share the detailed procedure or links for the same?
Also some clearer pictures of the process/plants would help.

Wrapped tight with parafilm means no worries about when to water, wind, drying out, etc. Just graft and go.

I wrap the stock with parafilm first and then cut through the parafilm to give my cover (also parafilm) a nice surface to stick to.
