Is that a load of chimeras I can see or just heavily variegated?

Both. Some are reverted to variegated gymno, and there are also a lot of just variegated gymno's

Yes it is a hodge-podge of aberrant growth cacti. everything like that gets grafted - such as this cristate Arrojadoa dinae:

I found out that those particular plants belong to Dan Bach and he is developing them for future sale -- Dan does not ship plants anyway (I don't either) so probably the only way to get one is if you visit here and can talk Dan out of one.Driller64 wrote:I don't want to sound like you have to do this, but would you care to lend me one of those chimeras you've got growing there? Astrophytums seem to be very popular grafting subjects with our group of enthusiasts here -- of course, not all of them turn out the way you wish.
