Is that a load of chimeras I can see or just heavily variegated?
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Both. Some are reverted to variegated gymno, and there are also a lot of just variegated gymno's

Yes it is a hodge-podge of aberrant growth cacti. everything like that gets grafted - such as this cristate Arrojadoa dinae:

Trouble is, after a while things get lost - now I can't find a monstrous Discocactus horstii I grafted some time ago.

I don't want to sound like you have to do this, but would you care to lend me one of those chimeras you've got growing there? I'll pay :)

I found out that those particular plants belong to Dan Bach and he is developing them for future sale -- Dan does not ship plants anyway (I don't either) so probably the only way to get one is if you visit here and can talk Dan out of one.

Astrophytums seem to be very popular grafting subjects with our group of enthusiasts here -- of course, not all of them turn out the way you wish.
