Yes it is, and it definitely has taken because it has pumped up to its orginal, unshriveled state.

I'm now trying with a T. pachanoi seedling on a rooted Pereskiopsis. This seedling is an older one and I removed a minimum amount of the seedling so if it doesn't work, I can always reuse the seedling.

Very nice, i'll do a graft on a opuntia phaecantha today, probably with schlumbergera, and hope that it takes. So far only 1 successful graft out of 90 tries :D

The T. pachanoi graft didn't work becuse the sap kept overflowing. But have no fear, because I recently ordered a new Pereskiopsis stock plant from Ebay. Its an older plant, so I'm not going to graft onto the plant itself, but it looks like it already has at least two potential cuttings on it :)

Good thing with the Pereskiopsis is that it is so easy to propagate and have new stocks.

Here is a picture of the Pereskiopsis I bought (it's mine now so there surely no problem with me posting it on here as if it were my own).

Yes, and it has so many uses for a plant that is so easy to reproduce.

Well, don't keep them wet below 17°C, because plants that aren't established, might rot(i lost two, they were in the same pot)

I know that some growers have differing opinions on this subject, but does the age of the seedling have any effect on the success of the graft? I know that getting a seedling to take that is even a few hours after germination is possible. My first graft is living proof of that since the seedling was only a few weeks old when I grafted it, but what is the best age for grafting to ensure maximum success?

I think the most important thing is that it has to be growing actively

But maybe seedlings that are just a few days old will bond faster and better because the cells aren't yet totally specified and still young and faster to change to other types, but losing water faster and more fragile.
