Grafting little offsets on opuntia indica

Hello. I just wanted to ask if this is possible. I saw a video grafting offsets of a cylindrical cactus on an opuntia leaf that is no rooted.
Is it possible to grow some offsets i have from echinopsis on the leaf?
Now the offsets are in a size of a nail and some of these have one little root. If i graft them on opuntia shoud i cut the offsets' base?
And the most critical. Are they going to grow faster if i graft them of if i leave them to form roots atc etc?

1. Yes, it's certainly possible to graft this way. It's probably easier to handle some species this way.
2. I'm not sure what you mean. You HAVE to cut the offset at the point lower then the apical meristem to perform a flat graft. I suggest you watch some grafting videos or read more guides if you're still unsure what a flat graft is.
3. The growth rates will probably be similar. Echinopsis grow quite fast as it is.
