First attempts at Seedling Grafts

Post by coltonschultz »

Hi all,
Recently I've been trying to do some pereskiopsis grafts of my 2 month old seedlings, and through alot of trial and error, I think I know what I need to do(Besides stop knocking all my grafts off).
Anyways, here's my latest attempts, I've got them under mason jars for humidity, and one that has just been taken out off humidity:
Ferocactus emoryi:

Looks like this one might have taken, I had to chop off more of the scion because I knocked this one off, so thats why it looks so short.
Coryphantha durangensis:

This looks like a pretty robust little seedling, hopefully it will take.
Hoping this one will take too, a younger Mammilaria rhodantha seedling:

These seedlings are much skinnier, so I was more careful to try and line this one up.
I'll update if they take, but wish me luck
Cheers,
Colton

Good luck!
Buying a cactus a day will keep the madness away.
