Pachypodium namaquanum grafting

Post by ogom »

Hi guys, my tiny experience with grafting dates 20 years ago and with a few cacti only. I have these 5 seedlings of Pachypodium namaquanum and would like to try to graft one on pachypodium lamerei.
Are they big enough or it is still too early? I doubt to find a P lamerei of the same size, only bigger ones. Would this be ok?
I am not much fond of grafted plants but I know P namaquanum are not easy to grow and would like to try with one of these.
Thank you.

Hey Oscar, the seedlings look big enough for grafting. I would try to find a stock that is about the same size.
