is it possible that the stock is a selenicereus?
Young professional amateur in Schlumbergera and Rhipsalidopsis growing and hybridizing

I'm pretty sure that's a Hylocereus,but I see what you mean.

as far al i know there are only hylocereus species wit 2 or 3 ribs, and i have got something similar to yours that was called selenicereus, but i don't know the whole latin name

Now for a bit of a graft growth and own root growth analysis.The seedling on the left of the following photo was twice the size of the grafted seedling at the time of grafting,now his grafted brother is slightly bigger than him! (The white patches are just minerals from water)

The grafted one looks a lot stronger and healthier
Image I wasn't raised a Cactolic but converted to Cactolicism later in life ImageImage
