That's a very nice crimson red coloured form! Fingers crossed it's taken successfully. Just wondering what's up with the sunken appearance of the grafting site, though? Has that happened since you made the graft?

I was surprised to see that, may be because it's very young myrti. sidling and got a little dry,CactusFanDan wrote:That's a very nice crimson red coloured form! Should of gone with red cordial! Knowing how loopy it sends kids that drink it that cactus would be columnar in notime!
Re: my 3 day old Gymnocalycium mihanovichii graft
weather is cold and windy and gymny it's growing,
I keep it in the sun with only the Gymny covered with small paper cap to protect it from direct sunlight

Hi yomero, so you didn't use any rubber band or something like that on to keep the two of them pressed together? I have some small Gymnocalycium to graft but i'm totally new to this.

How short is too short Yomero? Could we see a picture of the whole plant? I really like the look of Myrtillo for graft stocks, and I would like to have short stocks when I graft some plants. What is your concern with this? Slow growth? Unreliable?
Thanks.
Thanks.

here are a couple of pictures 14 months latter,
I think mythylocactus is more stable then hylocereus but slower growth.
