San Pedro cutting help *with photos!

Post by Biscuitmeniscus »

My attempt the transplant my San Pedro a few weeks ago did not go well. The cacti became soft, maybe over watered.
I am starting over today. Here are some photos of my new cuttings. Do they look healthy enough on the inside to try and repot in a few days? I need to cover the ends with cinnamon still.
Also, I cut one price from the middle, is it ok to plant this peice that is cut on both ends?
I am new at this and I am trying desperately to save this cactus. Any advice is more than welcome! Thanks!

Seems you did well worh the cuttings. It meeds to callous for a week before planting. Is it in a heated apartment? If yes give it thr most light you can. If not, wait till spring comes

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it!
I live in a heated house. I have many spots in front of windows where I can keep the cuttings. Is it safe to keep the cuttings in light while they are starting to callous?

Let them callous a few days in the dark

I would say in shade. More sun after they get rooted & potted, watered.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

They can be in the light, but no direct sun.
