How often do you water?

I've been googling because I'm trying to propagate some Crassula culturata (I think) leaves and a stem, a Kalenchoe leaf, and what I think is a pachyphytum hookeri leaf.

Half the pages I see say "don't water the leaves until they take roots", while the other half says "water them regularly until they grow roots!"

So, which one is it?

Does it depend on the species or is there a general consensus on when to water leaves?

I have rooted several jade leaves and I lightly water them about once a week. They do not need much water, only enough to dampen soil. If you water too much, you risk rotting the leaves.

Making the soil little wet from time to time should be the right approach for these leaf cuttings. They don't need any real watering until their roots appear.
