Cutting ?

I am very new to growing cactus. My question is if I am going to use a rooting hormone powder do I dip after cutting or after callus before I put in a pot? The cutting I believe is a trichocereus spp. The rooting hormone I have is IBA. Thanks.

I personally don't use rooting hormones and I have very good luck. I believe if you apply the hormone it is done after the cutting is callused. What you want to root should be very easy.
