Yes, no chance for Chollas here either.

After some considerable warmth for a bit we are back to more normal temps (was down to at least 24F one night this week). Doesn't seem to bother these though, they were the first to fatten up and the first to show some signs of growth if one looks close enough, just this week.

Nope, not even for one winter.

The seven red dots have expanded, and others are getting the red dot thing going.

If this is what I think it is, and doesn't abort it will be a first timer for me.

What's the last pic, Ray? I've got a coccineus with 3 buds @ same size.

This one is E. triglochidiatus.

I also cleaned out some that didn't make it through the winter, few pads of this or that lost, and a couple plants. Also have added a few more additions

Ray - Now I know what you mean @ aborting. I have 2 triglochids (planted last June). The smaller one had 3 blossom buds -- they've all regressed, but energy seems to be going into small, growing offsets. The larger one has 2 that might open today (my day off!). Hopefully I can catch them -- or at least they'll open/hang around until Sun (other day off)

Fortunetly it did not abort and flowered last week (have a pic I think, just haven't posted yet). E. missouriensis also has flowered ( I think Daiv's may have beaten mine to flower)

Looks like we're doing good Ray. Looking forward to get the C-H's really ready for winter -- with a lot more gravel. Still can't believe the 100% survival rate!

Right on Ray! We can get E. trig. to just survive here, but they aren't happy and only flower once in a great while. Too soon here for Opuntias too!
