Thank you all for you your kind, undeserved compliments. The Plants do all the work. I mostly stand back, stay out of the way, and watch as they do their thing.

A little up date. Things, as most of you know are cool and slow but, it makes the show last longer that way.
Echinocereus viridiflorus
Echinocereus reichenbachii ssp. albispinus
Echinocereus bonkerae
Echinocereus viridiflorus ssp. cylindricus
Here are a couple of western onions that do very well in a dry desert garden. they are low growing spring flowers that go dormant in the summer.
Allium anceps
Allium lemmonii
Don't forget the desert annuals.
Gilia capitata
Phacellia humilis
Nama aretioides
Nemophila maculata
Layia platyglossa
Layia platyglossa
I've got the blues
Gentiana acaulis
Well I'll end for now. Back at you guys soon.

Thought it was about time to post a few general shots of my garden. The late cool spring weather has slowed development but the flowers are lasting a lot longer.

Your garden is one of my favorites, it is one of several gardens that have inspired me to try a version here.
Trouble is that your companion plants are beautiful, mine look like (and in many cases are) weeds. I have a long way to go.

It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.
