Sharing some photos of my garden. I thought you might enjoy these.

As you see I moved you out into your own thread here so we could properly comment on your plants. With that said, your garden and plants are looking fantastic! I sure wish we could grow C. imbricata like you have!

Your garden is filling in nicely. Your Opuntia blossoms are great.
What are the blue spikes of flowers on the left side of your first garden photo? Salvia? Penstemon? or Something else?

Thanks John. The flowers are Larkspur and although not a perenial they reseed them selves and come up each year.....Sometimes too many

They still look nice. I grow several perennial Delphiniums in my garden they don't seed around a much as the annuals and many of the western perennial species go dormant before the cactus start to bloom. I think it is very considerate of them to make room so our prickly friends can show off.

Your cactus are definitely struttin their stuff and showing off!!

If I'm not mistaken, that indoor plant is Discocactus zehntneri. Definite winner!

you have a cool garden. Lots of different colors and it seems like a lot of them were blooming at the same time!

Daiv thanks for the I.D. on the Discocactus I'm going to make a tag for it.

Daiv the cholla that you commented on above grow in abundance around here. There is some rough country to the south of my home about 20 miles and the prarie there have hundreds of them. It is amaizing to me how plants have adapted to different environments resulting in abundance at one location and are limited or completely absent elsewhere.
