Well my cactus are just about done blooming for the season. I will get a hand full of Oputia blossoms by the week end and the E. vivpara var. arizonica is still pushing a few. The only thing I have to show for today is the second measly flush of blooms on my Echinocereus reichenbachii. :?

I took a trip to see Charles Barnum today his Cylindropuntia ramosissima had a few blossoms I figured you guys would like to see them.

Nice Echinocereus and great to see flowers on the rammosissima - I never seemed to be in habitat at the right time to see flowers on that one.

I dug these old postings up from last summer.It shows what great plants and flowers can be grown outdoors in zone 5a or less.I thought some of the newer people on our forum might enjoy this.It also has posts from a few people that havent posted lately.It also has posts from our forum member that passed away last summer, Chris Earhart,whom i considered a friend online.Great pics on this thread.Enjoy.

I'm surprised at the Echinocactus there, didn't think it was quite zone 5b material :)
