More weird Saguaro growth.

I went up A Mountain in Tucson to watch the sunset tonight. I Notice stands of Saguaros that looked deformed.

They all had this wierd grotesque look to them.

Any one have any ideas? There is a large number of these plants in one area. So maybe disease? Or maybe being close to a very popular road in Tucson it’s being chemically effected?

I think it looks like the apex keeps gettung damaged.
There are more cacti in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
One of the few cactus lovers in Lebanon (zone 11a) :mrgreen:
