what's the variety of this Asterias and why this Asterias has spine ?? :shock:
i thought that these cacti are without spines :-k

I'd say it's not asterias but another Astrophytum - ornatum or capricorn. In a few years you can make a positive ID.

I don't think that is Ornatum or Capricorne, None of the capricornes and ornatums spines are like that, I'm really confused about that.

Spines can be quite variable. It could also be a hybrid. In any case, it's too young to be able to tell what the spines will look like when it matures.

Exactly yes, It will not be clear until it mature, Unless one has an experience like that
