Hi All
I travel for work and am away most weeks looking after maintenance on 28 schools.
In my travels i noticed this amazing garden and had to stop to take some pics.
It's winter in Tasmania at the moment and quite cold.
Around 12 c today has been as low as -3 c often this winter
With max summer temp at 30 c.
Occasionally getting to 33 c a few days during summer.
Must have taken years to get to these sizes !!
Would be interested to see what you all think.
Please let me know if i have posted this in the wrong spot.
This is only my second post !
Cheers
Ek

I prefer the cactus
For the simple reason that it has a more interesting personality.

That is an amazing collection Ek! Sounds like you have a mild climate there in Tasmania. Do you get much rain?

It usually rains often in winter, but it is dry this year.
But when it rains it is for a day or more !
cheers

Re: Amazing in Tasmania !
Hi Ek - Wow, those are indeed amazing! Particularly for Taz. I think of Taz as cool and damp - not the sort of place you can grow a large, what I presume is a Carnegiea gigantea (with a light attached to the top?!). Very cool. Thanks for sharing! Tell me this is at least on the eastern half of the island? If this place is out in Queenstown the world no longer makes sense!

I'm a bit late replying but thanks for sharing these. This is amazing for a Tasmanian cactus garden. (I'm in NW Tassie myself). What part of Tas is this in?

Real great, thanks for sharing! I love those trying to be part of the garden wall, and the GIANT with the light at the top and the ropes (like a sailing ship) is good fun, too.
