I think this may be a euphorbia....have it for about a month and seems like part if it id drying out...help...not enough water or sun? Want to keep it alive. Approximately 20 years old and 6 ft High

Tried to attach a picture but not sure if it worked

Looks like Euphorbia. They often lose their roots at this age, winter time. Inspect the roots or /and try to cut and root some stem cuttings even the better time for this will come in spring.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
