Yes I was too lazy to set them Spence. I relied on my computer remembering my log in details. Will have to do as you say since I clean them off at least weekly.

Good to know it's not just me! I did a double take when I took a look at the forums this morning. Hopefully the old look gets restored soon as it's making me blue too. ](*,)

I sent you a PM to see, it seemed to work ok. Did it go through?

@ Robb - No such luck. This is the latest fad in forums, we'll be stuck with it until the next one comes along. Worse yet, there are no longer links to the main site - I hope they fix that, at least.

I could handle the new look if only it didn't seem so "stock standard". It feels like no attention has been paid to customizing the formatting or the forum display :? . Oh well, at least the new font looks nice.

I just emailed admin about this. Should be totally doable to fix, so we'll see how responsive they are.

Hello, everything went haywire with the move. It was supposed to be seamless. The forum version update was something to do after the site was moved and everything was working properly. I tested the site, then the forum on the new server before switching and it all appeared to be correct. It wasn't until it was put to real world use that the trouble showed up. UGH!

Any remaining bugs should be pretty minor and fast to fix.

Also remember you can change the style of the board per user. I set the default to be the green version with the links to the main site. However, you are free to use whichever style you want. It is super easy to add a new style. If anyone wants a PHPBB style other than what is there, just eamil me and I'll add it. I most likely won't customize it, however.

Just curious Dave.

When I log in I don't get the green default. The style I see is blue. If I go through all the steps to change and customise my style will it revert back to the blue if I clear the cookies?

Clearing cookies should result in the green version on your next log-in. I set the green style to the default.

Also for those who are not sure how to change it:

In the blue style: Click on your username in the top right, select User Control Panel, the "Board Preferences" tab, then under "My board style" choose the one you want.

In the green default style: Click on the icon of a person in the green bar - top right, select User Control Panel, the "Board Preferences" tab, then under "My board style" choose the one you want.

I did receive your PM, but unfortunately I still cannot send PMs. I tried PMing you back - but all my efforts get stuck in the outbox and don't go through.
