Roots look good

Post by keith »

Echinomastus erectocenrus this species likes to die at the roots , not rot the roots just die. So I'm going to transplant it in a 50% pumice mix and see how long I can keep it alive.

Last of the seed grown plants from years ago. look at the really narrow root as it attaches to the body its typical of the species.

Yes, very good root system - and quite large for the size of the plant. Give it a pot large enough for those roots to spread out.

Cacti that I've has lose their roots were ones I let get too root bound - so don't let it get root bound.
