WOW. Great Site

Post by primeaued »

What a fantastic place to help a rookie cactus guy like myself. I am new to the hobby and interested in growing my collection and keeping them healthy. They say it is an addicting hobby. I have been interested for about 3 months and my wife is already mad at me. (Smile). Looking forward to diving into this huge website.

Welcome. I'm new here myself and have learned a ton of information from this site/forum. Amazing people with great knowledge.
Where are you located? It doesn't say on your profile. Also - sounds like you are developing a casee of SCAD (succullet cactus acquisition disorder), Enjoy. My collection has more than tripled sincee finding this site.

Welcome from a San Jose life long resident.
It's a perfect climate for cacti.
No cactus nurseries here anymore, like when I was a kid, to feed the addiction, but there's ways.

Welcome to the deep end! Definitely hit up local nurseries and walk around see plants and do some research on their conditions! If they're doing well locally, the odds are in your favor, Happy growing!
