And the collect. The another schumanii need some time to get the fruits, for that reason I don´t post it

One of my favorites cactus, for the flowers, the color body and the spines. Definitely have more in the future

Very nice. I have a single plant that puts on a great display every year around this time, but no fruits. Must get it a mate.

Same here. This is from a month ago. I grew it from seed, but only seem to have one of them.

I see a need for an international pollen exchange service.

Nice one, iann. Much longer spined than mine. I bought it from Kuentz in 2008, I think. This was it two weeks ago:

The polen exchange service is a good idea, as you can see there's a ton of it going to waste on my plant...

I'd thought about postal pollen exchange earlier, after I'd fertilized my 2 Ferocactus setispinus by storing pollen in the fridge, as they refused to synchronise their flowering.
It would be nice to get fruit / seeds on a few of couple of my other plants where I only have 1 specimem.

I have 6 of them, 3 different varieties with slightly different skin color

Definitely a Fav, they have been flowering all last week.
I get tons of seed, and have dropped the seed into the pots below and now have seedlings galore

I may try and get a photo, it would have been a no brainer except for the fact that it's Raining!

What you do with the seeds? Sow or trades?

I put most of the seed away in a little brown envelop and then wait for years,
and then I throw it away because it's too old.

Luckily, I throw some in the mother's pot and get babies without doing anything other than spraying it a couple extra times during the summer to get the seeds to sprout and not dry up.

I have so much unwanted seed that I don't bother listing because Mesa has it and I only sell seeds that are hard to get.
The seed trades are too much work for me, if someone wanted them I would sell them, since Denise wouldn't let me just give it away.

I like this colored form the best

Here is another darker colored form

It has so many seedlings that they will crowd each other out next year, if they make it.
