I like this one as well! I love the cactus that look unusual or are a bit more colorful than the 'normal' green flesh/pale spines.

Hi,I wish i could get one or two of these as I don't like hooked spines but really like Mammillaria perezdelarosae.

Seed is usually available in the EU and they will flower in a couple of years or so from seed.

Mine have flowered already. They are small and slow compared to Mammillaria perezdelarosae, but attractive.

Fuzzy and deadly all in the same go, they do look like sea urchins!

The contrasts are what I love: the black vs white spines and the sharp pointed ones against the softer pectinate ones.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
