Yesterday and today
The second flower--this one bigger than the first--on a recently-bought Echinop/Lobiv hybrid variety of 'Rose Quartz' and a new Faucaria tuberculosa, which I wasn't even aware had a bud!
. Today four cacti are flowering, all in different colors, which is always good to see.Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!

C'est la vie!

Nice!
I'll grow it as long as it doesn't have glochids. Gaudy flowers a plus.
Re: Yesterday and today
One Faucaria or two? I see loads of tubercles on the flowering head and hardly any on the other.

Good evening,
yes, looks like two plants. Faucaria tigrina and Faucaria tuberculosa (with blossom).
Best wishes

Yes, I noticed that too. Methinks perhaps a duo. They're still in their original pot, so I'll probably know for sure when I get around to repotting them.iann wrote:One Faucaria or two? I see loads of tubercles on the flowering head and hardly any on the other.
