At least there's some hope
Despite my enormous losses this Spring--most likely, as suggested by Steve Johnson, who's giving me a lot of welcomed advice, a result of a systemic applied too early in the season for the roots to become fully functioning. But in the GH I have a few buds like these developing on the Epi that bloomed for the first time last year. I don't know the hybrid name, but it's a medium pink and quite large. Strangely enough, none of my other Epis show any signs of blooms, although they're all the same age and have been treated identically in each season.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
