Can anyone confirm the lack of chlorophyll in this seedling (It is an echinopsis huascha, or a hybrid thereof- Thanks to Akio for the seeds)It has been this color since it popped up and has continued to grow, I know it is not dead but it is strange colored, variegated maybe?
Thanks,

Re: Possible albino seedling?
I hope it develops into a variegated plant, however, It doesn't seem really albino to me.
Some seedlings can be totally white sometimes, this one is apparently just lighter green. An albino would need to be grafted.
It's still so young, I have had seedlings that seemed variegated in their first months or year, and then they started growing green like any other plant.
Keep fingers crossed and watch it as it grows.
Are you using osmocote in that mix?

Re: Possible albino seedling?
Yeah I wasn't paying attention when I scooped soil and ended up with osocote in my seed starting mix.
OK well see,s good to me, I would prefer it to be variegated, because with my luck the graft would not take, and variegated ones are cool .
Thanks,
Will
