The exposures are bad because of the adverse lighting conditions (small portable light), but this was about 11:45 PM last night...

Tricho to my inexperienced eye. So what is the visible difference, if any, between an ordinary 'old fashioned' one and a hybrid
Echinopsis/Trichocereus?
