Cacti in habitat, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua

Post by Vanzily »

PLEASE AVOID ANY MESSAGE ABOUT THE ISSUES IN THE CITY, I LIVE HERE

The city is big, in the east, some hills are without the human intervention and we can see some think like this. Not very much cactus, but which we have, are good. Only survive cold hardy cactus and survive the strong rains in the summer. But good climate to keep cactus in general

Some pictures
Before the rise, I start to see the echinocereus stramineus and polyacanthus, looks like the polyacanthus prefer the flat land

Looking great! I have not explored around Juarez much, so it's great to see pictures.

Nice pictures. I have a echinocereus pectinitus from Ojinaga with orange yellow flowers. Nice area for cactus

Excellent! Really like those Glandulicactus. The M. lasiacantha should be flowering soon. You might be able to find Coryphantha scheeri var. robustispina and also Peniocereus greggii.
