Interesting growth form
Interesting growth form
I came upon this tree covered with hylocereus plants. It is common to see one plant send a long thin stem up a tree and then to branch out to mature stems when it reaches more sunlight above. This is the first time I`ve see a tree covered like this. One possibility is that a quantity of seeds were deposited here in bird droppings or by some other manner and the climate has sufficient humidity that many grew.

Very cool! They seem to enjoy it there.
