Please see attached photo of a friend's Barrel Cactus. Can anyone identify?

A pic of the whole plant would be helpful, but from what I can see
I'll say Ferocactus hamatacanthus.

Need to see a side view with ribs and spines. My initial guess is Ferocactus wislizenii.

I think F. hamatacanthus has a yellow flower Kamos. Looks a lot like F wizlizenii or acanthodes:-
