First time bloomer.

Post by sundanz »

I bought this plant in oct 2013 and it finally bloomed, seemingly overnight as I did not see pronounced blossoms! I was surprised this morning when I entered the GH. It had been in the 90 plus during the day and in the 70 at night! Lovely flowers, yes?

Nice.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Very nice flowers Karin!

Often considered a variety of L. backebergii. L. oxyalabastra is all one word Karin, the IOBN "rules" don't allow spaces in a specific name since it could be mistaken as meaning "L. oxyala v. bastra by the reader. In cases where the name is made up of two words or names they have to be joined together without a space, or hyphenated to show it is a single specific name as in Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae, the original author decides which form to use.
