Really impressed!

Post by sundanz »

Yes, I'm really impressed at how my cacti have grown since I started in 2012. Almost all of them have grown taller or wider and taller! Despite my lack of knowledge they are doing great! Some of them have gotten so wide I had to repot them into a 6 inch pot! I'm really happy with my success, it makes standing in my GH during 100 degree heat a bit easier!:-)

Good morning Karin,
I can very well understand you !!!

After 45 years of cultivating cacti, I am happy every day when I come into the greenhouse.
As they grow, new offshoots, sometimes even flowers. . . it is wonderful !!!

Best wishes

K.W. (still in Germany. . . :) )

Hi K.W! How are you? Good to see you on here again! My enthusiasm for these lovely plants is growing every day and Im always looking for new varieties. Seems like the list is endless! My small Greenhouse is jam packed with plants and I'm thinking of getting another Greenhouse to add on to this one! It's an addiction I confess but a good one! I just wish I could have started this sooner in life to have more knowledge. But, better late than never!

Best wishes to you, and I always enjoy looking at your beautiful plants!

I only started in 2012 as well and this last year I have seen incredible improvement with the growth of my plants. The first year was pretty horrible. The soil mixes/watering schedules/feeding schedules were pretty bad, but I've learned so much. It is definitely an addiction. I have probably 300 plants now in a 2 year span. Hahaha. :D

Hi Karin, your experience with cacti growing is a good example of how things only get more interesting as you continue growing them, it's really hard to not want to know more about them, grow different species and so on.
I hope your plants keep growing good! :D
