Now it looks like the plant has done, I will post some pics.
Early in 2013, my largest Lophophora williamsii, a rather nice clump - well I think so anyway, started growing a new head - here it is peeking between three other heads.
A year, and a repot, later - the new head had shouldered its 3 companions out of the way, and has flowered and fruited.

Pretty!
BTW, do you know what that green rock is? Looks kinda like serpentinite, if you're into mineral mixes, serpentinite is a GREAT source of Mg and Fe. Pitty it's practically impossible to find in my country!

That looks to be quite an ancient plant. Do you have any history on it?

I bought the plant as a single small seedling in 1999. It first flowered in 2001, on the back seat of my car, en route from the UK to Spain - obviously had never read that L. williamsii is illegal in France (neither had I, at the time!).
The top dressing is sold by my local garden centre - they also sell it in sky blue, red and yellow.
