Looks better. Dont add any fertilisers the soil is pre loaded with them and there is still quite a bit of organic material but much better. Here take a look at mine, the soil you see on top is the same all the way through. No actual dirt.

it will take quiet a long time to see whether it is good or not. And it also will take a long time to see whether it is growing or not. This is a Cacti that will take you a long time to look after.

I have good reasons for preferring traditional unglazed terracotta pots, especially for genuses with large taproots, have even been transferring my collection slowly to these, over a couple of years now. But each to their own, and anything is better than a beer can!
