Humpty Dumpty.....

Post by teo »

I have a Tephro articulates that I have tried to keep as one plant (with variable success - a few times some segments have fallen off when moved). This morning I found that it had fallen from it's shelf down to the floor. Now I have many plants again :-)

A similar thing keeps happening to my tephro. It may be permanently stunted.

I periodically break one off by accident and I repot them. They have no problems rooting! The last 2 pups I planted outside in my cactus tub and they're growing beautifully!

Well at least you have a handful of new plants now, if you want them.

Just one is enough, I keep giving them away to the unsuspecting public all the time :-)

However, I would like to see a flower but nothing yet, maybe this is too far north for that :-(

More light, less water, and it should hold together better as well as being less floppy. To stop it falling off the shelf, maybe heavier soil? Velcro? Nails?

It's how they spread in habitat, so why should they change in cultivation? :D
