Quantity of items in a letter?
50 g letter incl. package

• or 3Y Lithops: 100
• or Conophytum: 100 – 150

What is the postage for my country?
Please read our postage list.

What is the size of a 1 year and 3 years old Lithops?
1Y: 0.3 – 0.5 cm
3Y: 1 – 3 cm

How many varieties are in mixed Lithops seeds?
15 species at least + subspec. + var.

Is the price of a Conophytum for one piece or one clump / cluster?
For one plant it may be 1 head or up to 10 heads depending on species and age.

What is the difference between a Conophytum cutting and a 3 years old plant?
A 3Y plant is grown from seed, a cutting is a head or clump of heads cut off from a larger plant and rooted. Cuttings are usually larger than 3Y plants at the same price.

Which potting medium do you use?
Pumice (Bims), nothing else. It is a natural volcanic stone (beige porous gravel, fast drying), just sieved (could contain other stone parts)

What temperatures do you have?
In winter here I keep plants between 0 – 10°C, in summer it occasionally gets to 30°C (outside of the greenhouse).

Which are the months I should not water Lithops?
Here in Germany I do not water in winter (December to January). Maybe you can water all year round (in a hot country). Lithops optica (Rubra) needs some water in winter.

Do you sell any Lithops at wholesale rate?
Yes, but in many cases I have only few plants per number.

How to pay?
Please read our payment options list.

Export to countries outside of Europe
All export shipping (any country outside Europe e.g. China, Japan) is done in boxes up to 2 kg weight. Since 15 January 2012 a phytosanitary certificate is required for South Korea for more than 10 plants. With this paper we can send parcels up to 20 kg.

Only with this way of shipping we take full responsibility for the order all the way. If you don't receive a box for whatever reason you don't have to pay for that (part of) order. And you pay after receiving the order.
Customers who request a different way of sending (for example a large order into one heavy parcel) need to prepay the order and responsibility is on customers side. If you don't receive that box it is still you to pay for. The reason for above is that in many countries entry of plants is illegal or restricted. Maxi-letters (box up to 2 kg) rarely get inspected but heavy packets will.

P a y m e n t
Please do not pay in advance!
We only know the postage after packing your order. Some plants may be sold out.

We hold the right to ask for payment in advance (pre-payment) in some cases. If requested:
1st part of payment (estimated value, to pay in advance)
+ 2nd part of payment (remaining due minus dead or bad plants after receiving)

Make sure that we have no bank charges (fees) on recipient side! (see red hints) Overpaid amounts will be refunded or plants will be replaced on next order if shipping costs are to high to send only few plants.

Please do not forget to add the invoice number as reference (see detailed invoice) or your name if someone other pays for you.

Please subtract dead or bad plants from invoice after receiving your order and return payment in Euro (€ = EUR, currency converter) as follows:

• Germany: Bank transfer, bank wire
Bank code: 57650010
Account: 100061019

• European Community: SEPA bank transfer, bank wire

Germany: + 2% fee
European Union (EU): + 4% fee
America, Asia, Europe (without EU): + 5% fee

Example for invoice value of 100 Euro.
Germany: € 100 × 1.02 = € 102 with bank fee
European Union (EU): € 100 × 1.04 = € 104 with bank fee
China/South Korea/USA: € 100 × 1.05 = € 105 with bank fee

We do NOT accept cheques because of high bank fee! (€ 15)

We prefer PayPal for receiving/sending money from/to countries outside the European Community. SWIFT has relative high bank charges (10 - 40 Euro). SWIFT is cheaper than PayPal if the amount to transfer is more than 500 Euro.

Thanks for that, Mr.K.W. I have now paid in full. 11.96 Euros for 1000 mixed Lithops delivered to my door is a bargain in my opinion, conditional upon the seeds being viable of course. I'll give it a few weeks for the sun to get a bit higher in the sky here at 53 degrees north of the equator and give them a try. I'll report my progress in a new thread.

Once again, Aiko, thanks for the link.

The MSG seed list has been published. Only available to members though, but well worth being a member.

As each year, the list is long (119 batches to choose from) and has some nice oddities for a low price. This year it includes Conophytum achabense, Conophytum hammeri and - as last year - Lithops otzeniana ‘Cesky Granat’.

Another seed ordering season has just started. Two updates from the Czech Republic to start off with:

First http://kaktusyhk.cz/index.php/katalog-2015" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with some interesting species for some, like Escobaria abdita and Agave albopilosa even though still quite pricey...

Also http://kaktusynechvil.wz.cz/nabidka.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; has been updated (I don't have experience ordering from them, though).

Leal-cactus from Ukraine has updated their list as well. Small list but neat selection nonetheless.

http://www.leal-cactus.com.ua/index.php/en/seeds" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm seeing Mammillaria luethyi on quite a few lists this season, though last year or so I couldn't find it at all.

And this one is even relatively not expensive regarding Mammillari luethyi seeds. Escobaria abdita is on this list too. Only the second time I have seen it on a list. Probably more common this and next years too.

Funny to be able to see the stock, assuming it would be accurate. Haven't seen that anywhere else.

I now have. I must say speedy communication and speedy on sending the seeds (especially if you compare the weeks or months it takes other Czech seed sellers to distribute seeds, although from my experience still worth the wait). I got the seeds within a week after ordering. Fastest from all seed sellers!

So have you or anyone else ordered from them? I am a little hesitant about western union wiring money. With Paypal I always have some recourse.
