I could be wrong, but it sounds like you are looking at someone on ebay. What you want to go to is miles2go.com

I have ordered cacti from a lot of places. Today I ordered a large portion of my most wanted list(the list changes every time I visit this site), well any way today's list from Miles2Go. I called and gave my credit card info and was told everything on my list was in stock. I was also told it would go in the mail Monday and that I should have it Wednesday or Thursday. If they arrive on time and look as good as the other orders that I have seen in this thread I will be a customer for life. I'll post pictures when They arrive!!! :D :D :D I am way too excited. It's not like I haven ordered hundreds of plants online over the years.
I am just looking for the defining statement to put here. Follow this link to see my other cacti.

I received my order from Miles2go, and it was excellent. The order was packed better than glass items I have ordered elsewhere, and the plants were large, and in excellent shape with very healthy roots.
I have purchased electronics not packed like this!

Look at these roots!

I'll have to do a post about what I purchased.

I think that's the first thing most people say when they receive their first order from Miles, "Wow....look at those roots!"

I recently ordered a couple of Opuntiads from Caro Nursery (http://www.carodesert.com/).
They have a list of very rare opuntiads for very reasonable prices (http://www.carodesert.com/opuntia_paradise.html), many with photos.
I took a chance (since I'd never heard anyone mention them before, and the species involved were fairly rare) and ordered a couple of plants.

WOW! GREAT plants packed very well. Response time to inquiries was measured in MINUTES via email!
Received package 3 days after ordering.

Unfortunately, on their website they indicate they are getting out of the nursery business this fall!

So, I plan on ordering as much as possible before they are gone!

Cheers,
Tristan

Add another point for Miles! :thumbright:

Regarding Caro Nursery - I'm on their mailing list and unfortunately, yes they are closing down. They really are promoting Opunitas in their "close out" e-mails.

Has anyone bought any cacti from Intermountain Cactus in Kaysville, Utah?

I've purchased several Opunita pads from them. Nice people and they sent pads well packed and in great shape. A lot of their Opunita taxonomy is very old but it is possible to work most of them out based on locality which they have for most of their plants.

If you haven't visited Darryl and Jen's CoronaCactus nursery website lately, you'll be amazed at the huge increase in selection there. What a list after such a short time in business!

.. you're right about that peter. I just placed my first order with them on Monday and It should be here Thur. or Fri. I've talked too Darryl by phone, and he's very friendly and knowledgeable. I will post some pics when my package arrives. Without a doubt I know I'm going to be a happy camper :)

Well..Guess what? My package is here from CoronaCactus, as I was submitting my post the mail truck was just pulling into my complex, and just for the heck of it, I asked did she have any packages for me? "Yes I have two" she said. I rush out and sure enough my CoronaCactus package, and my miles2go package is here. They both were just shipped Monday, so the postal service was on my side this time.
:)

My shipment from CoronaCactus was well packed

All 17 plants labelled and wrapped

Wow that's great there's some great sources here... How quickly do plant arrive from abroad? Are there any issues with bringing them into the US?
