Flowers in the rain

Post by iann »

No sun needed for these. They open even if it is cool and then they stay open. I get a few more each day, but they're nearly all open now.

For me it is also one of the first plants to flower in spring.

Looks like it to me. :)

I do enjoy Eriosyce flowers. They sure do brighten up the place in all this gloomy weather. :D

Dave - You "need" one if you haven't got one :D One of my favorites -- & it came in "error" of order filling! TFS, Ian! Like Echinopsis, my eyes can never look @ too many of these guys, esp. in blossom!

I think I have one, Peter. I say 'I think' because it has white spines and it's not yet bloomed. As soon as I get out from under a mound of work and preparation for my vacation, I'll see if I can post some recent photos.

I don't know if they are changing colour much, but more of the white bases of the petals are becoming visible,
