Flowers in the rain
Flowers in the rain
No sun needed for these. They open even if it is cool and then they stay open. I get a few more each day, but they're nearly all open now.

I do enjoy Eriosyce flowers. They sure do brighten up the place in all this gloomy weather.

Dave - You "need" one if you haven't got one One of my favorites -- & it came in "error" of order filling! TFS, Ian! Like Echinopsis, my eyes can never look @ too many of these guys, esp. in blossom!
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

I think I have one, Peter. I say 'I think' because it has white spines and it's not yet bloomed. As soon as I get out from under a mound of work and preparation for my vacation, I'll see if I can post some recent photos.hoteidoc wrote:Dave - You "need" one if you haven't got one One of my favorites -- & it came in "error" of order filling! Wow! Those are quite some long-lasting flowers!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

I don't know if they are changing colour much, but more of the white bases of the petals are becoming visible,
