That's an awful lot of work to sneak in one link in the fifth post
No kidding! Pretty soon these people will sow a bunch of cactus seeds and post pictures of their plants just to squeeze in a link to some job site after a month or two of getting us to trust them.
At some point the economics have just got to fail with this stuff!
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
They work for promise of pay, not for money. So there is no economics here, just psychology. Scummed spammers.
There are lots of stupid people dreaming of been payed fro staying in bed the whole day, they will always be used for spam generation. I'm surprised how long did it actually take to have this kind of scum started on internet.
i have had times where i am online at the same time as the spammer and deleted posts as fast as they can post them
i even sent a pm to a few telling them to go away (not that politely) ................eventually they get the message and leave, then we delete the profile.

While I don't know a whole lot about the behind-the-scenes workings of forum software, on the pool site I moderate we have a "report post" button on each post up near the "quote" button. This will put the post in the moderation queue for the mods to nuke when they log in.
I don't know how much effort it would be to add that function, but it works well for us.
Hey Danny,
The version of this forum is really outdated. I keep intending to update it, but have been putting it off. Partly because I know it will be a major project and partly because we're all going to have to adjust to it. However, it is inevitable and I think this winter will be the time.
