We don't get cacti that are on the rarer side. I'm looking for a myrtillocactus geometrizans crest ](*,)

The topic says: "What plant do you want most", not seeds, that is unsure way to get (or not) a decent plant eventually after many years.

So I am looking for a mature, spiny, rare, well grown plant with some buds, also suitable for my home conditions. 8) Promise to post pictures very next day after it opens flowers!

If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

It's a toss-up because I have only been searching for a year. I've found Coleocephalocereus aureus (or Buiningia brevicylindrica) and these I really like

I think that almost any cactus can be purchased online, but sending it internationally is a problem due to import restrictions.

I'd take even just a regular one, but Crested , would be a dream come true.

Question
Could artificial monstrose/crestate plants be created in a similar manner to chimeras? ergo to insert afflicted tissue(of at least a related plant) into another and make it monstrose or crestate? Because these mutations are often cause by microorganisms and or genetic malleability.

Someday I'd love to grow Brasilicereus markgrafii & all the species of Leptocereus. Pipe Dreams, no doubt. :)

I want to get all the escobaria species and subspecies, though I have not been collecting cacti too long and am also a poor student.

Arthrocereus would also be great, as well as a replacement for my harrisia fragrans that decided to rot on me :(
There is no cactus you can't eat, but you just might regret it if you eat the wrong one.

Ferocactus Johnstonianus. Amazingly they seem to be quite readily available in most European countries.
