Self-propagation

Post by fanaticactus »

The young lady who takes care of our gardening needs found these tiny seedlings in a side garden that's somewhat near the cactus garden. Since I only have one genus that's been growing long enough to have dropped seeds is an Opuntia, but which species I don't know. She set them on a pebble tray for me. I'm hoping that some of my Echinocereus will begin to multiply in the same way in a couple more years.

Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
