I have one very similar to that Orange one =^-^=

My plant was a throwaway too, back in 2011. Was one of John Pilbeam's overspilling rubbish bag plants , so sad :(

I thought it was Rebutia Buiningiana . I gathered loads of seed off of it last season in 2013 and sowed them in August gone. I now have more Rebutia seedlings than I can shake a stick at.

Later then discovered that it was in fact Rebutia Kieslingii

So far this year my Orange Rebutia has flowered twice. A tight half ring of flowers or arc. Then a few more from lower down on the plant. Now I have at least three buds coming right on the top shoulder of the plant.

I am going to end up with soo much seed.

Lordy ! =^~^=

My Rebutia Kieslingii is pretty much going to mirror what yours is doing right now. I'd say in two or three days.

But i'm pretty sure I will be collecting seed off of it soon

=^-^=

.

I'll probably put a picture of it up at the time in my thread in Member Topics so.

= ( o ) _ ( o ) = Oh Wow !

Five flowers so far and one more to come , you are doing well.

My Rebutia Kieslingii is flowering today . Just the three flowers, but this is it's third and last flush. From now on I will be collecting up loads of seed soon. Not that I need anymore  Rebutia Kieslingii seedlings at the moment.

And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
