Nice list PTCG.

If I can get the seeds to sprout soon, I might be expanding my Plant List for this year.

PBJ,
yeah, good luck. Growing in MN is probably a lot different then sticking something in a hole outside in my yard in the desert, but... :) I am glad that you are growing stuff too. Cacti are fascinating.

Nice collection!

I usually move the names of my dead plants to a separate list, so I know what I've had trouble with and why. Your "death rate" is remarkably low, good for you.
It’s not the fall that kills you; it’s the sudden stop at the end.

actually now it's 26 :( I forgot to change that one of them got the bad rot.

Harriet thanks for that great Idea I will amend my list on my hard drive and post my deceased with the regular ones. I have had a few cuttings die for various reasons, so I didn't include them, but over all I haven't killed all that much. :)

Christer,
It is a good idea. I am also curious what you are able to grow on your windowsill. I am sure your list will make all of us drool! :)

Thanks everyone. I will also leave up all the old ones so that people can see what I have gotten over the years. This really is probably the start of my third year of actually collecting cacti. Last year was when I got the "bug" and started massively collecting cacti.

You've built it up pretty good since last year, nice. Well done.
I used to keep a database with pics, but at the rate I (we, + my wife) were collecting plants the list got out of control and I threw my hands up in submission. By now though my grow list resides in my head, I know what I have and don't have and what needs replacing ;) I may need to upgrade my internal memory chip someday but for now I have a decent grip on it.

Now keeping the nursery plant list in check and updated is another adventure...

Darryl,
trust me I have no idea how you keep track of all of your own plants plus all of those that you sell. I have to keep a nice list like that handy so I can A. remember the names of them, and B. if someone asks me what plants I have I can find it out quickly.

Also thanks, I have worked hard at keeping my plants growing well and making sure they are happy. :)

One of these days I will order more plants from you, when I get a little more money! :)

Sunburst is the varigated ficus indica and maverick is the variegated monstrose monocantha and Josephs coat is the larger monstrose variegated and reverts to normal monocantha super easily.

I still really haven't found any info for any of those names. When I googled it I came up with my own list! and that was about it for the Maverick. Someone on Ebay had it listed as Sunburst.Whatever you call it that is what I have!

Mine even has the longish spines coming out of a few of the areoles, but not many glochids.

(my regular O. ficus-indica has some long spines on it at the base but it was a volunteer!
