Nice! I sowed a cactus mix and soms other cacti species a month ago. I hope they'll be doing as good as yours.

Thank you Spence and Tom. It's an exciting time, seeing them develop their own individual characteristics. Now I just need to keep them away from the birds and grandkids, lost a few to them, and the odd ones that may have been damaged in transplanting. Anyway, with about 250 little plants, it will be interesting to see the different growth habits as they go on. All the best, Mike

Thank you Toadstar, I can't take you up on your bet, don't use nickels here :) , but you could be right. I very much doubt that there will be any Opuntias, as they have a tendency to become invasive here in South Africa. This means that there are strict import regulations which restrict certain species.
