Hi everyone,I have been collecting some seeds ready for next spring. What is the best way to keep them until then? In the fridge?

I've never put mine in a fridge, I just use a cool and dark location and have not had any germination problems. The main thing is to ensure that they are properly dry before you store them. Others may disagree.

Yeah I just keep them dark cool and dry too, you can freeze them at about -18c but if they are not dried enough or the temperature is too high or fluctuates it can kill the seeds.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.

Most cactus seeds have a good longevity, so storing them over winter doesn't present many problems. Just don't leave them in a really humid place. As others have said: cool and dry is good. More necessary for long-term storage though. :)

You'll have to try hard to kill most cactus seeds by next spring :) A few have short life spans, anything like dust is a good rule of thumb. So Strombocactus is one, but even those should store well over one winter.
