I need help planning before I sow. Will they require any special care or will the baggy method work fine? Any other advice on growth requirements/conditions would be appreciated.
Baggy is good. Warm and humid is good. Sterilise well and be prepared to leave them in the bag for 12 months, if possible. A. fissuratus is slow and seedlings develop best if kept warm (hot!) and moist.
Hmmmmmmmmm...I think I should get some of those seeds for myself - warm and humid I can do over here, however leaving them in a baggie for an entire year, not sure I can do that!!
It helps if you use a very clear baggy. You can get 6" wide fish bags for very cheap online that are clear and work great. As long as you can see them well there isn't much temptation to open them.
